The Humane Society of Missouri’s Development Office is seeking an Office Coordinator to fill a key role within the department. The position is responsible for responding to donor inquiries by phone, email or in person in a timely and professional manner, and/or forwarding the donor on to the appropriate HSMO representative for follow-up. The position also processes gifts, gift acknowledgements, and other donor correspondence in a timely manner for the Chief Development Officer, Director of Planned and Major Gifts and other staff as needed. This position also provides logistical support and coordination for donor events. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative office experience with some exposure to a fundraising office environment, as well as excellent computer skills, including all Microsoft applications. Some exposure to or experience with fundraising databases is a plus, specifically Raiser’s Edge. Individuals should expect to work outside of normal business hours occasionally for donor events.
