This position maintains animal health including treating sick and injured animals as directed by our veterinary surgeons in our AAHA Accredited Veterinary Medical Center Surgery Department.  Responsibilities include: preparing and positioning animals for surgery, maintaining surgery and controlled substance logs, updating patient files, monitoring patient recoveries, assisting surgeons, and cleaning surgery rooms and equipment.  This position requires a veterinary technician graduate with a current license, or a license in progress in the state of Missouri.
