Adoption Fees for Westport Center in Maryland Heights

Depending upon individual circumstances, adoption fees may vary.

Dogs six months of age and older are $110, which includes:
First DHPP vaccination (Distemper/Hepatitis/ Parainfluenza/Parvovirus). Booster shots are required and are adopter's financial responsibility. Rabies registration First Bordetella vaccination First deworming (Follow-up fecal exam recommended) Heartworm test (for dogs older than six months of age) Initial flea treatment Spay or neuter surgery Avid microchip with national registration Ear cleaning and nail trim Temporary collar, tag and leash Paw Partner membership Shelter, food and loving care from the Humane Society of Missouri
The total cost of these medicines and procedures is more than $200, but your adoption fee is only $110.

Desirable breeds* and puppies younger than six months are $210, which includes:

First DHLPP vaccination (Distemper/Hepatitis/ Parainfluenza/Parvovirus). Booster shots are required and are adopter's financial responsibility.
Rabies registration

Cats six months and older are part of the "Pick Your Price" adoption special. You decide their adoption fee. Fee includes:

Rabies registration Feline Leukemia/FIV test First deworming (Follow-up fecal exam recommended) Initial flea treatment Ear cleaning and nail trim Spay or neuter surgery Temporary collar, tag and cardboard carrier Avid microchip with national registration Paw Partner membership Shelter, food and loving care from the Humane Society of Missouri
The total cost for these services is more than $260, but you get to decide your adoption fee. Minimum adoption fee is $25.

Kittens younger than six months are $135. Fee includes:

Rabbits: $50, which includes:

	Since rabbits and other critters like to chew cardboard, please don't rely on our temporary cardboard carriers to transport your new furry friend home. Guinea Pigs: $15
	Since guinea pigs and other critters like to chew cardboard, please don't rely on our temporary cardboard carriers to transport your new furry friend home.
