Humane Education

What is humane education?

At its most basic level, humane education is teaching children to care for the animals that share our world - both in our homes and in our communities. It is about fostering attitudes of respect, responsibility and kindness - for animals and people alike! It's fundamental purpose is to make the world a better place for all living creatures.

Go for the Gold – Be an Olympian for Animals!
At the Humane Society of Missouri, we believe that every child has what it takes to be a Gold Medal Olympian - for the animals! Join us this summer for a week-long Kids for Critters Camp or a 3-hour Animal Adventure Camp, and you'll have what it takes to stand upon that award-winner's podium with the Olympic torch held high!
