With the construction affecting the entire St. Louis area, the Humane Society of Missouri encourages you to use the following resources to help you find your way to the animals. Please remember that we have three locations to serve you!
Directions to Macklind Headquarters

From Mid St. Louis County
- i.e. Ladue, Olivette, University City, North County
Travel 170 south or Hanley Road south to Highway 40 east.
Follow Highway 40 East to Oakland Avenue
Exit at Oakland and follow east to Macklind Avenue
Turn Right onto Macklind Avenue
OR
- i.e. Brentwood, Des Peres
Take Manchester Road east to Macklind Avenue
(Macklind is approximately 1.8 miles east of McCausland)
Turn Left onto Macklind Avenue
You can also visit our Westport Area Center
or Chesterfield Valley Center.
From I-44
(Ideal for areas South and Southwest of St. Louis City)
Exit at Hampton Avenue
Proceed North on Hampton Avenue
Follow Hampton to Oakland Avenue
Turn Right onto Oakland Avenue (at light turn right between
the Imo’s Pizza and the News Station)
Follow Oakland to Macklind Avenue
Turn Right onto Macklind
OR
Exit at Kingshighway Boulevard
Proceed North on Kingshighway
Follow Kingshighway to Manchester
Turn Left onto Manchester
Turn Right onto Macklind Avenue
