Ranch Caretaker
Longmeadow Rescue Ranch
We are looking for an individual to be a "live-in" caretaker of the ranch located in the Union, Mo. This person will reside on the property. In exchange for living quarters, the person will be responsible for the following duties, requiring about
20 - 25 hours per week of work including making nightly rounds to check on the safety of horses and farm animals, and to secure the farm property each evening. Additionally, you should be able to recognize signs and symptoms of typical horse and farm animal illnesses or physical ailments/inflictions. You may also have to feed and water the animals, when necessary. The job also includes doing grounds maintenance and maintenance/repair work on buildings and property.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in the care of horses; be able to operate grounds maintenance equipment and hand tools and perform light maintenance work. Interested candidates should reply with name and phone number; resume, if available, and a list of your qualifications and experience.
Assistant Animal Health Technician

These individuals provide animals in the Adoption Center with proper care and attention including feeding, sanitation, and medical procedures. Qualified candidates will have previous experience in animal care and proper animal handling and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Veterinary Technician, Licensed
Macklind, Maryland Heights, Chesterfield Valley
The Humane Society of Missouri is currently seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to work at our AAHA certified Veterinary Medical Centers. This position maintains animal health programs including treatment of sick and injured animals as directed by our veterinarians. This position requires a veterinary technician graduate with a current state license. Applicants must possess organizational skills, ave effective communication skills and be computer literate.
Staff Veterinarian
Macklind, Maryland Heights
Candidates should have strong surgery skills, 2 - 5 years clinical experience and possess solid problem solving abilities, excellent people skills, and a strong desire to contribute to a team effort. Basic computer skills and typing ability are a must. DVM degree from an accredited university along with federal and state licensure is required.
