E room Assistant - R.V.T

The Humane Society of Missouri is currently seeking an experienced animal health tech to work in our Adoption Center examination room. This position conducts routine exams, lab tests, administers medications and maintains animal health including treatment of sick and injured animals as directed by our veterinarians. This position requires previous experience in a shelter or veterinary clinic setting. Applicants must also possess organizational skills, have effective communication skills and be computer literate.

Assistant Animal Health Technician

These individuals provide animals in the Adoption Center with proper care and attention including feeding, sanitation, and medical procedures. Qualified candidates will have 
previous experience in animal care and proper animal handling, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ranch Assistant  - temporary, weekends

We are looking for people to feed, water, turn out, handle the animals, and clean stalls and shelter areas.

Must have horse handling experience! This is a temporary, weekend position.

Call Center Assistant Supervisor - Veterinary Clinic

We are seeking an individual with Call Center supervisory experience and the drive for customer service excellence, to answer phones, schedule appointments, answer questions, enter data, complete associated paperwork, and supervise Call Center staff. Qualifications include 2 years' Call Center management or supervisory experience, computer/data entry skills, dedication to customer service excellence, extraordinary communication and problem solving skills, and ability to promote a positive public image of our organization.

 

Gift Shop Sales / Customer Service – part time

This is a part time position in our gift shop. The ideal person should be outgoing, reliable, able to communicate easily with employees and customers, computer literate, able to operate cash registers,  love animals, be able to follow directions, willing to take initiative and do a variety of tasks with flexibility. Retail experience is preferred.
  Part time hours will be between 15 and 30 hours per week. Must be flexible and available weekends.

 

Veterinary Technician, Licensed

The Humane Society of Missouri is currently seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to work at our AAHA certified Veterinary Medical Centers. This position maintains animal health programs including treatment of sick and injured animals as directed by our veterinarians. This position requires a veterinary technician graduate with a current state license. Applicants must possess organizational skills, have effective communication skills and be computer literate.
