our Disaster Relief team in the Gulf area.
If you have lost your dog or cat in the Louisiana, southern Mississippi, or Beaumont, TX, areas due to Hurricanes Katrina and/or Rita, please read through the dog breeds and cats listed below and click on the type that most closely resembles your pet. The link will take you to a page with pictures and brief descriptions of the animals we have rescued. We have attempted to cross-reference breeds to make your search easier; for example, if your dog is a German Shepherd/Lab mix, you will find your pet under both selections. Should you see an animal whose description matches that of your missing pet, please contact the Humane Society of Missouri at (314) 951-1562 with the animal's name, Humane Society of Missouri A-number (identification number), and brief description.
