From Debbie Hill,
director of Rescues & Investigations

The daily outings in the Bay St. Louis area are progressing, but catching the animals has become more difficult.  We continue to speak with people we see and encounter animals while on our patrols.  The more outgoing pets have been coming to us; however, the timid and frightened pets are not easy to catch, especially since fences, buildings and other ways to confine them were destroyed by the storm.  We’re using humane traps for these pets.
