Where to begin: Behavior and Training: 101

This owners-only class meets the needs of all dog owners, whether they are enrolling in pet dog class, starting in competition obedience, or seeking information on behavior problems.  It is required for all students enrolling in any of our entry-level classes.  Owners may enroll for the Behavior and Training: 101 presentation through Pay Pal, in person at the Humane Society of Missouri Headquarters in St. Louis City, or over the telephone. Cost for this approximately 2-1/2 hour session is $20. In St Louis City this class is held in in the Lecture Hall of our Macklind Avenue Headquarters or in Chesterfield at our new Chesterfield Valley Center at Boone's Crossing. Dates and times for both locations are designated below.

DO NOT BRING DOGS TO THIS CLASS!

After the Behavior and Training:101 session has ended, instructors will answer questions and help guide owners into the right class for them.  Owners purchase tickets (in sets of five) for the majority of our classes. Each ticket is good for one class.  The entire packet is valid for 60 days from the start of your first class .

Owners wanting to attend classes at Chesterfield Valley can come to any of the Behavior and Training 101 Classes at Macklind Headquarters and enroll in the Chesterfield classes afterwards.

NOTE: Please allow approximately 2-1/2 hours for the presentation and at least another 30-45 minutes for questions and registration. We do not begin registration until the presentation has ended.
