New Client Information

Your First Visit

Our team strives to promote the well-being of all pets, serving every client and patient with compassion and respect.  We would like the opportunity establish an effective relationship by obtaining important background information and conducting a thorough examination.

What to Bring

We recommend you bring the following items to your first visit:

  • Any medical and adoption records you may have, especially veterinarian provided vaccinations
  • Any laboratory results, and fresh stool for parasite analysis
  • A list of any medications, supplements or special diets your pet receives.
  • If your pet has been seen by another veterinarian, please bring your pet's records with you to your first appointment.

We strongly encourage you to share your observations or concerns with the veterinarian. You know your pet better than anyone else. Bringing a list of these questions or concerns can be helpful.

Thank you for choosing the Humane Society of Missouri. We can't wait to serve you and your pet!
