Pet Lovers Holiday Gift Guide 2019

GIFTS WITH A “TWIST”

At Longmeadow Rescue Ranch, HSMO’s haven for abused and neglected farm animals, there is a special horse named Twist of Fate (affectionately known as “Twister”) who has a unique artistic talent. In the winter of 2017, volunteers taught Twister to hold a paint brush, and then to paint. Twister’s works of art are a beautiful testament to the vibrant and resilient nature of the farm animals who find their way to Longmeadow, and they make a memorable and unique gift.

Fans of Twister will also love Chris Stuckenschneider’s book, “Twist of Fate: The Miracle Colt and His Friends,” which tells Twister’s incredible story and features beautiful paintings by Kevin Belford. Twister is also available as a Barn Buddy plush!
