Meet the Post-Dispatch Pets of the Week!

Coco-A681146

Hi, my name is Coco and my ID Number is A681146!

Coco is a five-year-old tricolor Akita who loves going on walks and jumping into a comfy bed. Coco is housetrained and knows sit, stay, and down so she would do great mastering new skills through additional positive training. She loves being outdoors sniffing all the good smells but is happiest simply settling down near your feet. For anyone searching for a fun-loving, four-legged-friend sweet Coco would love a forever family to spoil her now and through her golden years.

To adopt, apply in person at HSMO’s Best Buddy Pet Center in Maryland Heights. Click here for hours and directions.

Yin-A680972 and Yang-A680971

Hi, our names are Yin (ID#A680972) and Yang (ID#A680971)!

If you’re looking for love in a little package, look no further than one-and-a-half-year-old Parakeets, Yin and Yang! These little lads are beautiful in blue with white patches and black speckles adorning their feathers. While outside their enclosure, these cheerful chaps prefer a T-stand or playpen as their home away from home. Although small in stature, Parakeets have big personalities and love being around their human friends so Yin and Yang hope to find a family who will play and interact with them each and every day.

To adopt, apply in person at HSMO’s Macklind Ave. heaquarters in St. Louis City. Click here for hours and directions.

Hi, my name is Tanner and my ID Number is A678355!

Tanner is a one-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with expressive ears and a fun-loving personality! Give him a squeaky toy or ball, and he’ll be the center of entertainment! Since he’s still a puppy, Tanner would love a family to help him with housetraining, obedience, and all the other skills he needs to grow into a very good boy. Tanner’s tail is always wagging – and he’ll wag his way right into your heart and home!
