Meet the Post-Dispatch Pets of the Week!

A415705 Manny

Hi, my name is Manny and my ID Number is A415705!

Manny is an 11-year-old Toggenburg goat cross who is friendly and loves people. He was born at HSMO’s Longmeadow Rescue Ranch and was adopted when he was young, but unfortunately was returned due to personal circumstances. As the lone goat on the ranch property, he currently resides with three donkeys, so he is good with sharing space and making friends with other farm animals. For the month of November, Manny’s adoption fee is $15 off to celebrate Adopt a Senior Pet Month!

To adopt, apply in person at HSMO’s Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, MO. Visit longmeadowrescueranch.org for hours, directions and more information.

Felicity-A678599

Hi, my name is Felicity and my ID Number is A678599!

Felicity is a six-month-old Parson Russell Terrier mix puppy with expressive ears and a fun-loving personality! Give her a squeaky toy or ball, and she’ll be the center of entertainment! Since she’s still a puppy, Felicity would love a family to help her with housetraining, obedience, and all the other skills she needs to be a very good girl. Felicity’s tail is always wagging – and she is so cute, she’ll wag her way right into your home and heart!

To adopt, apply in person at HSMO’s Best Buddy Pet Center in Maryland Heights. Click here for hours and directions.

Rebecca-A680448

Hi, my name is Rebecca and my ID Number is A680448!

Seven-month-old Rebecca is a “purrfect” patchwork of orange and black fur with striking green eyes. Rebecca is ready to chase feathers, crinkle balls, toy mice, and any other toy you’ve got! She’s an active kitten who knows how to use the litterbox and the basics of being a good kitty. Rebecca would love a family who will spend lots of time playing with her, cuddling her once she’s all tuckered out and giving her the security of a loving forever home FUR-ever!

To adopt, apply in person at HSMO’s Macklind Ave. headquarters in St. Louis City. Click here for hours and directions.

Rex may be a senior, but his age doesn’t slow him down in the slightest. This little lad loves playtime, or going on short walks with his human friends. This sweet and playful guy can’t wait to find a family who will spoil now and through the rest of his golden years. ***Rex is currently unavailable, but we are accepting applications***

Hi, my name is Kinoa and my ID Number is A661865!

As she is on the heavier side, Kinoa needs a family who will partner with their veterinarian to get her back to an ideal weight through gentle exercise and food monitoring. In return for all the TLC, Kinoa will supply you with endless purrs, head-butts and cuddles. For the month of November, the adoption fee is waived for all cats 7 years and up!
