What We Do

The Young Friends of the Humane Society of Missouri work on special projects and events to promote the organization. Our biggest Young Friends event, BarktoberFest, takes place every October at Urban Chestnut in Midtown. We also contribute to the success of Bark in the Park and other events throughout the year. As the group grows, we hope to spend more time promoting adoption and responsible pet ownership at community events.

We have monthly meetings that are held at the Humane Society of Missouri or at local establishments around St. Louis. We also hold several very exciting fundraising and animal wellness events throughout the year. We welcome professionals from all backgrounds. Thank you for your interest!
